What we’re about
Welcome atheists, agnostics, humanists, free thinkers, ex-Christians, ex...fill-in-the blank. I am starting this group for the purpose of meeting other like-minded individuals with the intent on building community where we can form deep, long-lasting relationships and share in each other's lives. My thoughts currently are meeting for a meal on a regular basis and going from there depending on the interests of the group. I would like us to get to know each other on a deeper level, share our joys and struggles with one another, be a support to one another in times of need, maybe volunteer when the need arises, and just have fun. I like to hike, camp, kayak, go to the movies, do little weekend get-aways and such. I am new to Greenville so others may have input on ideas, restaurants, etc. as well. I've been an ex-Christian since 2015 and still deconstructing. Other humanist groups I have been in hold monthly discussions but this group is for connection! Welcome, and I look forward to meeting you!
DUES: Meetup has drastically increased their fees ($378/year), thus requiring the need to charge members as I've been absorbing the cost myself but am no longer able to. If you are able to do so, pay dues through my PayPal @HannahLatta934 using Friends/Family. This enables our group to get the full $10 instead of $8.75 due to Meetup taking $1.25 from every dues paid. When you join, you will be asked to put in your credit card info. That is processed through Stripe and we lose money on fees. If you can pay through PayPal, don't put in your credit card at this juncture but go to PayPal @HannahLatta934 and pay the $10 that way. You of course, have a free 30-day trial!
