## Youth Centre Take-Over Night - Fundraiser

It's been a while, but Meetup nights at Broadwater Youth Centre are back!

Date: Saturday, November 23rd Time: 7:00 PM - 10:30 PM Location: Broadwater Youth Centre Entry Fee: £5 (all proceeds to Godalming Youth Service)

The theme for this one is gaming - arcade, board, video gaming!

Dust off your Pac-Man t-shirt for a night of mayhem! We'll have something for everyone, with:

• Classic arcade machines: We have three arcade machines, and many retro game systems to play. Enjoy your favourites, discover retro gems and see if you can beat Tom at Street Fighter 2!
• Modern gaming setups: Battle it out on PS5 (Fifa), Xbox (Forza with steering wheel), or Switch (with Mario Kart/Smash Bros)!
• Tabletop games: Gather your crew for board games, with a whole library of board games available.
• Indoor sports - enjoy air hockey, pool, and more!
• VR experiences: Dive into another world with virtual reality!
• Sumo Suits: Channel your inner wrestler for some hilarious battles!

Why the Theme?

All proceeds will support the youth centre, particularly a project the young people are involved in to refurbishing arcade machines (one of which will be playable on the night!)

So why this theme? Well, firstly, it's fun! Secondly, the arcade machine project is really positive, and we want to make it even better. Billiam is overseeing it, and it's good to support the work of other Meetup members.
