7:00-7:30: We will be working on the 60 step form. This half hour is for those of you who want to add another form to your routine.

Tai Chi is a series of gentle physical exercises and stretches. Each posture flows into the next without pause, ensuring your body is in constant motion. Tai Chi is sometimes described as meditation in motion because it promotes serenity through gentle movements — connecting the mind and body.

Although Tai Chi is slow and gentle and doesn't leave you breathless, it addresses the key components of fitness — muscle strength, flexibility, balance, and, to a lesser degree, aerobic conditioning. Here's some of the evidence: Muscle strength. Tai chi can improve both lower-body and upper-body strength.
