5.4 Miles, Storm King -North Point – Pitching Point – Challenging

5.4 mile hike at the Storm King State Park. AMAZING VIEWS and Steep Ups and Downs Elevation gain ~ 1800 feet and there are few steep rocky sections**. Early start due to small parking lots.**
Approx. Duration – 3.5-4 hours, depending on how fast we hike.

Meet by the BobCat (BC, White) trailhead. We will leave ½ cars there and take a short ride to the Butter Hill trailhead (BH, Orange) to start our hike on the Butter Hill. We will end the hike at the BobCat and will drive ½ of the group to the ButterHill trailhead to get their cars.
This trail offers beautiful views of the Hudson River and the Hudson River Valley. CHALLENGING intensity hike with some steep rocky ups and downs but no hiker will be left behind. Bring hiking boots, bug spray, poles, water, lunch, and a sense of adventure. Rain, thunderstorms, wildfires, etc. cancel the hike. Day of hike phone: 917-445-0523
