**Trail Notes:** Distance about 12km, allow 5 hours, moderate grade. A certain level of fitness is required for this hike. The trail is classified Grade 4. Elevation gain about 437 m

Let’s meet in front of the Binna Burra Teahouse at 7:30am for a 7:45am start.

Dave’s Creek Circuit is a very interesting walk especially for the diverse vegetation. The trail runs through small Antarctic Beech forest, rainforest of eucalypt and casuarina, piccabeen palms, mallee woodland and heath.

**After the walk:** we meet at Binna Burra for coffee and refreshments.

**What to bring:** must have plenty of water 3 litres, snacks (sandwiches, tinned meat, dry fruit, fresh fruit, bars, small meals such as rice, boiled eggs).
Hiking gear: a medium hiking backpack, long trousers and shirt with long sleeve are preferable, hiking ankle supportive boots; gaiters; first aid kit; insect repellent (for environmental reasons is better to use the roll on and the cream; AVOID THE SPRAY); hat, sunscreen, gloves; light raincoat; working torch; tissues; phone; walking poles if you like to use them.

Money for the coffee shop and your inner happiness.
There is a collection of two dollars donation to help run the group, thank you for your support.

**Parking and toilets:** toilets are available; please park the car in the lower carpark, at The Saddle, so we don't impinge too much on the Teahouse customers, thank you.

**Lifts**: if you would like offer a lift or ask for a lift, please put your request on the comments with the place you intend to travel from. Consider to offer $10.00- $15.00 to the driver as a contribution, each passenger, depending on the distance. You may choose the most convenient location for you and the driver as a pick up point. It may be easier if passengers and driver exchange phone numbers for organizational purpose.
Please make sure to have with you a change of clothes and clean footwear as a courtesy to your driver. Carry with you spare plastic bags to put away muddy boots or wet clothes.

**Phone reception and Internet:** Plan your trip in advance and it is a good idea to carry a map of the area in your car. Consider that if your GPS runs on Internet it may lose the phone signal. The phone coverage may be also poor and may be difficult to send and receive messages.

Please rsvp if you are genuinely interested in this walk and make sure to adjust your rsvp two days in advance if you realise you no longer can attend so the Group doesn’t use extra resources.

Read the description and if you would like to bring friends, ask them to join the Group so they can be nominated for all the interesting activities the group has to offer and they can have all the necessary information.
Take all your rubbish with you, including used tissues, apple cores, orange and banana peels. If you see rubbish on the trail please collect it and dispose it responsibly.

Do not remove plants or anything from National Parks or Natural Reserves.
