What we’re about
Halifax River Audubon serves the northeast section of Volusia County. As a chapter of Audubon, we conduct meetings, events and classes throughout the year focusing on birds and the environment.
Our most popular activities are our field trips. We may go to a local park or travel to a nearby refuge and sometimes roam a little further. We may walk or hop on a boat or drive refuge roads. All outings are different and we offer trips at varying activity levels. We welcome bird watchers and nature lovers of all skill levels.
On the field trips we will comply with Covid-19 protocols. We will focus on small groups meeting at the venue and will walk or drive keeping in mind social distancing.
We welcome nature lovers of all ages, families, students, folks who want to explore Central Florida and our neighborhoods. We are looking for folks who enjoy spending time outdoors and learning and sharing the world of birds. For more information, please check our web site:
