What we’re about

Are you a cycling enthusiast and coffee lover near Eaglemont/Ivanhoe/Heidelberg? Join our Meetup group for a Yarra Trail bicycle ride, 20km return, 9:15am Saturdays. We leave from Peak Cycles, 1/101 Burgundy St, Heidelberg VIC 3084 to a fun café. This group is perfect for women who want a compact ride-time and a Parisian-style chat over good coffee. Let’s cycle, sip and discuss together in beautiful river environs.

Picture this: a quaint group of like-minded individuals cycling for health and then engaging in lively discussions about life's mysteries. We're all about embracing the café-philo method, through proposing intriguing topics, choosing together, and diving into everything from consciousness to community, with a sprinkle of laughter.

Forget the stiff atmosphere; we're all about small groups and unpretentious talks. No need for a philosophy degree; just bring your open mind and a dash of curiosity. Join our ride every Saturday and a coffee - because pondering the profound is better with good company. See you there! 🎉

A few tips for a great session:

Come with an open and curious mind 🧠
Prioritise listening to others and asking questions 👂
Be aware of how much space and time you take up when speaking, we put a strong emphasis on giving everyone a chance to contribute equally to the discussion 🗣️
We prioritise intellectual accessibility: this is not an academic group therefore we ask to keep any philosophy jargon to a minimum and instead explain any concepts in plain English 🤠
We are an apolitical group that focuses on discussing and exploring philosophical ideas

*Please note: as we’d like to keep the group small, and restricted RSVPs to six persons for the time being. Please make sure to update your RSVP status to make sure others on the waitlist can join if you’re unable to make it. RSVPs open one week before the event. Thank you for your understanding 🙏
**Please don’t just show up, as upon a cancellation, we can provide an additional spot.

Free!
