What we’re about
We are fiber artists of all ages knitting, crocheting, and just generally wreaking fiber-related havoc across Indianapolis. Fiber artists (incl. knitters, crocheters, spinners, weavers, etc) of all ages, genders, backgrounds, and skill levels are welcome!
If you don't know how to knit or crochet and would like to learn, we can teach you! Please reach out or comment in the event you're planning to attend if you'd like help learning! Knitting & crocheting is a great coping skill, and it's even better when you have friends to share and snark with.
This group meets weekly at different bars, cafes, and restaurants in and around Indy. We may do special projects and events such as making afghans for charity or having yarn swaps.
What you should bring to a meetup:
1. Your lovely self
2. Your own hooks, needles, yarn, etc.
3. Any suggestions or ideas for projects or future meetups (ex. yarn/pattern swaps, fundraisers, projects for charity, group afghans, etc.).
4. A desire to make new friends with other yarn addicts!
5. Like-minded friends!!
