Welcome to Indy Wine...bringing wine lovers together since 2007!

Join our wine-loving community and explore a variety of wine tastings and events around the city, from educational sessions to fun festivals, winery tours, blind tastings, house parties, happy hours, and more! We welcome everyone—novices, connoisseurs, couples, singles, and friends (21+). Many members say this is their favorite Meetup group! Enjoy a free trial, then just $15 a year.

Membership requirements:

  • Please upload a clear, recent head-and-shoulders photo of just yourself (no hats or sunglasses) so we can easily recognize you at events.
  • 21 years old or older
  • Live in Indianapolis/Central Indiana area
  • Answer a few questions for your Indy Wine profile

Join us for a free 30-day trial, attending as many events as you like before paying dues. Check event details for signup times; if an event is full, join the waitlist and we'll try to get you in!

A few quick guidelines:

  • Wine Focus: We drink wine at our events unless stated otherwise in the event description.
  • Name Tags: Wear a name tag with the name on your profile to help us get to know each other.
  • Event Details: Read all event details and check your calendar before signing up. Watch for special instructions!
  • RSVP Etiquette: If you can’t make it, please update your RSVP. Same-day cancellations count as no-shows.
  • Guests: Members can bring a guest once for free. After that, guests are $5 each or can join by paying the membership fee. Great for couples attending occasionally.
  • Hosting: Members are encouraged to host events—more hosts, more fun!
  • Common Sense Rules: 1) If you're not feeling well, stay home. 2) Respect the wine and drink responsibly. 3) Leave personal drama at the door.
  • Membership: This is a private group. Membership is a privilege, and members may be removed without warning for disrespectful behavior.
  • Refunds: Dues are refunded if you're removed within 3 months of payment. No refunds for failure to turn off renewal.
  • Profile Updates: Keep your profile updated with your current email to receive updates and event announcements.

Membership dues help cover semi-annual Meetup fees, supplies, occasional venue expenses like igloos and firepits, special event costs, complimentary wine or food at select events, and other surprises! Attend often to get the most bang for your buck!
