Located in Taigum with lots of parking around, this romantic, relaxing and calming venue has lots of good vibes!

Decorated with fairy lights and warm furnishings this is a comfortable, happy place to eat a selection of well prepared Thai meals at Darun Thai Restaurant in the 'Aldi block of shops' off Handford Road, Taigum.

I can't eat spicy hot food, so I can guarantee there is a range of food for those that are like me ;-)

**French breakfast delicacies - Oh "**Oui oui"
This is a beautiful cafe in Sandgate, which I feel is a hidden treasure.

Come join me for a delicious breakfast, coffee and sweets, French style.
To live your best life, join me for a great start to the day.
For those keen we might have a light walk afterwards along Sandgate waterfront.

I 'tested' this cafe, and it was better than I expected, so you must try it. Grab a bite to eat for breakfast or a piece of cake

MOVIE NIGHT - Ready to get a little WICKED? at Chermside Westfield

Meeting 6:00pm if you would like to have a pre movie, quick bite and chat at Betty Burgers

We will leave aprx 6:30 to meet anyone else

WICKED starts at 6:45 and is 2hrs 40 mins.
It looks fabulous and is a take of the Wizard of Oz but has a story about individuality, friendship and of course sticking it out against all the odds.
Be Warned it is 70% likely to be a musical ;-)
The cinematology is absolutely incredible. If you love this type of fantasy movie, come and join me and enjoy the experience with friends.

ENCHANTED Roma Street Light Display
Let's meet for a magical walk through this incredible light display

Food trucks are on site for a bite beforehand - this is a wonderful night out for young and old'er people.
The food precinct, situated within Roma Street Parkland’s Celebration Lawn offers an array of cuisines, including Italian classics, mouthwatering seafood, juicy burgers, irresistible desserts, and creamy ice creams, it’s a paradise for taste buds.
Indulge in delicious wood-fired pizzas, relish the classic fish and chip combo and devour burger fanatics can devour classic cheeseburgers or venture into gourmet creations.
For dessert, treat yourself to an assortment of decadent desserts including waffles, gelato and donuts. To complement your feast, a licensed bar serves an array of beverages, from tasty wines to chilled beers (but NO BYO sorry)

Meeting at 7:30pm near the entrance where there are food trucks, we will have some fun with any kids coming and a bite and chat together and enter the display approx 8:15pm.

There is a bit of walking, but mostly level walking. At a slow pace it takes about 45 -60 mins from entering at 8:15pm.

FIRST TO PAY GETS THE TICKET - if there are any other tickets left and more interest, then I will try to get more, but these sell fast so dont wait.

If you would like to meet earlier 4-5pm for a BBQ and games with the children / grandchildren or a big kid (like me), something like hit and run on the green, let me know otherwise this will be the only event. All depends on interest level.

I have been to this magical light event at Roma Gardens a few times and it is always impressive. I hope to see you there.
