What we’re about
Would you like to have more energy, clarity, and health?
Tai Chi Chuan is simultaneously a practice that supports well-being, enhances a healthy mind and body, and also teaches the body mechanics suitable for self-defense and for success in other sports.
You can sign up for a single class, or a package of four classes at a reduced rate (recommended), for Long Island or for Manhattan.
Master David B. Alexander has 45+ years of experience studying, practicing, and teaching with the best, including Grandmaster William C.C. Chen. He brings that broad and deep experience to Tai Chi Chuan classes for Long Island and New York City.
Read more here for group class information. We teach Short Form, Punching with targets, and Push-Hands.
Tai Chi Chuan is suitable for adults of all ages who are in reasonable health. When practiced it leads to greater energy and coordination and at the same time to a more peaceful state of mind.
All classes are one hour long. Contact us to find out what classes are available and suitable for you, and to discuss any questions you may have.
