You must register your residence at the Residents' Registration Office (Einwohnermeldeamt) in your municipality within 14 days of your arrival. However, it is possible that you will not be able to register your residence until later due to high demand.
We have arranged a group appointment for the registration office in Darmstadt. This means that we can accompany a group of students to the registration office. If you live in Darmstadt and want to join the collective appointemnt, you can register here in the event.
You need to bring these documents to the appointment:
•Passport
•Visa
•Confirmation of accommodation provider (original or copy)
Ihr müsst euren Wohnsitz innerhalb von 14 Tagen nach eurer Ankunft beim Einwohnermeldeamt eurer Gemeinde anmelden. Aufgrund der großen Nachfrage ist dies manchmal aber erst später möglich. Wir haben einen Sammeltermin für das Meldeamt in Darmstadt vereinbart. Das bedeutet, dass wir eine Gruppe Studierender zum Meldeamt begleiten. Falls ihr in Darmstadt wohnt, könnt ihr euch hier im Event dafür anmelden.
Für den Termin müsst ihr folgende Unterlage dabei haben:
•Reisepass
• Visum
• Wohnungsgeberbestätigung (im Original oder in Kopie)
