Are you Japanese? Are you in Hobart? Would you like to meet some locals, improve your English and learn more about local culture? Or are you a Hobart resident who would like to learn more about Japanese language and culture?
This group is for anyone who is interested in Japanese-English language and cultural exchange. We organise regular events, including language exchange (practise your Japanese or English over coffee or a drink), food (visits to Japanese cafes and restaurants), cultural events (such as Japanese films or Japanese art exhibitions), and social events (such as BBQs or bushwalks). Events are relaxed and sociable. All skill levels are welcome, whether you are fluent or can only speak a few words!
