What we’re about
Monday Evening Co-ed Volleyball at Jelleff Boys and Girls club on S St NW, 7pm - 9pm. We have three courts, though at this time we generally play on two. Intermediate / better level - all attendees should be able to pass consistently, since everyone may be called upon to set.
The price is $10 per person, which can be paid on the night, or Venmo at the event or beforehand.
Guidelines For Attendees:
Teams will be chosen randomly, through an organizer asking attendees to circle up, followed by each person taking a number consecutively from 1-4 (or 1-3, before 24 people have turned up). Once all teams have played each other, or more people have turned up, attendees will again be asked to circle up, and new teams will be randomly chosen. Depending on numbers, teams may have less or more than six people.
Note that participation in the Monday evening volleyball games hosted at Jelleff Boys and Girls club are at the participant's own risk. Neither DCPS, sponsoring organization Ski Club of DC, or the organizers of this Meetup group, are responsible for any injuries that may occur through play or warm-up during any event.
