Just for the Fun of it

Welcome! We are all about getting out, having fun, meeting people and connecting. Events will include dinners, Sunday afternoon dancing, mid week dinners, weekend catchups, socialising over coffee, walks, bike riding etc.
Our group includes people with an approximate age of between 40 - 65. The important thing is that you have the mindset of getting out and having fun - so you are young at heart. We welcome singles and partners. Minors are not allowed at any meetup event.
We will host events all over the Gold Coast. Feel free to join us if you are new to the area, we'd love to meet you and welcome you. We welcome suggestions for yummy restaurants or fun things to do.
Please provide a recent full face photo so that we know who to look for when you are attending. Please no family photos with children in them - for obvious reasons.
$5 per year is collected to go towards the meetup fees.
For dinners and events where tables are booked please ensure you provide a minimum of four hours notice of not being able to come (no explanations needed) so that we are doing the right thing by the venue and those on the waitlist. Anything less will be counted as a 'no show'. Two no shows and unfortunately we will remove you from the group. Of course, sometimes there are unusual circumstances where you might be unable to attend/change your rsvp and allowances will be made for this on a case by case basis.
Respect for each other is a must. This is not a dating group. Any inappropriate behaviour and you will be removed from the group. We will ensure this is a safe, fun group for all to attend.
