Perth Branch Classes:
Awakening the Buddha Within

Details

Buddhism teaches that each of us has the wisdom, love, compassion and power of a Buddha within, yet this remains untapped. This series of teachings and meditations will help us awaken that potential by revealing the trainings of a Bodhisattva. A Bodhisattva is a friend of the world who out of compassion for all living beings, strives to awaken the Buddha within. The path of the Bodhisattva is contained within a practice called the six perfections. In this series we will learn how to develop the best intentions for benefiting others; love and compassion and then we will learn how to practice six trainings; giving, moral discipline, patience, effort, concentration and wisdom both in & out of meditation. This is essential advice for those wishing to follow a way of life characterized by greater empathy and compassion for others.

These classes are suitable for everyone.

Each class includes 2 guided meditations and a teaching. You can attend any or all of these great classes - each class is self-contained. Everybody is welcome!
