Foodie Camping Weekend @ TBC Campgrounds (Max 2-3hr drive from Sydney) - Nov 1-3

Last year's foodie camping weekend was so much fun that we've decided to make it a yearly event !!

This year's event campground location is still TBC.

(Last year, 5 of us enjoyed the Coolendel Campgrounds which was just awesome. Everyone arranged one or a part of one of the meals. We had kangaroo stew, maple glazed bacon and of course s'mores. And we even went swimming in a local freshwater river and saw a huge wombat at night only a meter away!)

Our preference is a campground which has all the great facilities you love (hot shower, flushing toilets, etc), a big space so we can put all our tents and a campfire is a must. They also have lots of wombats on the grounds which I'm excited to see (from a distance of course - hehe).

Ok, so here's how it is going to work...

1. DURATION : You can arrive anytime during the weekend, so come for 3 or 2 days or even just overnight. We will be there for 3 days / 2 nights (but the timing is optional for you).

2. PAYMENT : Each person must arrange payment online for their own booking (it's easy, last time we paid ~$25 per person, per night). Feel free to come on your own or invite a guest.

3. ACCOMODATIONS : Each person arranges for their own tent & camping accommodations related equipment. Last time, there were glamping (preset-up tent) options available for those who don't have a tent and want to join in too - Let us know if this is of interest and we can include this in our investigations.

If you're keen to come but don't have a tent, let us know -- We may be able to work something out for you.

4. FOOD ROSTER : And then we'll set up a schedule where people who want to cook a specific lunch or dinner on a specific day can put their hands up to do so. And for those who are happy just to help out one way or another, let us know too.

5. OTHER ACTIVITIES : We're pretty informal... people can do whatever they like at any point. We're big campfire people, so we're going to make sure we have a fire going so the post dinner chats should be great. We will see if we can find some local hikes to help us build up an appetite for the next meal too (optional to attend).

Note: When we arrive on the Friday, we're going to share where in the park we are located on this event page and we'll also let the camping reception know too. And of course, we'll share contact info as well by email before the weekend so you also have a backup way to contact us if needed.
