In Person : This Potluck is Nuts - Sat 21 Sep, 5pm, Daceyville (near Randwick)

Details

As a growing community of kitchen enthusiasts and passionate foodies, we do enjoy getting together every so often for sharing our favourite foods and recipes.

This session will be a potluck with a kitchen challenge that is a bit nuts, literally.

Everyone's dishes should feature at least 1 ingredient from the nut family, for instance peanut, hazelnut, almond, cashew, pine nuts, brazil nuts, coconut and I'm sure there are others too!

CAUTION : This potluck will definitely be a bit silly. And I expect I don't need to state that anyone with a nut allergy may want to give this event a miss ;D

This event is an in-person event with limited numbers, in Daceyville in the Eastern Suburbs.

Feel free to arrive anytime from 5pm with an aim to eat around 5:45pm or so.

Please let us know which dish you'll bring and we'll add it here below so everyone is aware of who is bringing what dish.

Menu for the Potluck

  • Appetizer : Honeyed Nuts Snack (Tony)
  • Entree : Indian Peanut Chaat (Eric)
  • Salad : Mango Salad with Chopped Peanuts (Amit)
  • Main : Peanut Satay Chicken Kebabs (Brandon)
  • Main : Peanut Stew (Shar)
  • Main : Stir fry Kung Pow Diced Chicken with Cashew Nuts (Vanessa)
  • Side : Middle Eastern Mixed Nut Rice Pilaf (Stephanie)
  • Side : Nutty Sweet-Potato Savoury Bake (Pawel)
  • Dessert : Chestnut Tiramisu (Natia)
  • Dessert : Mochi with Creme Antep Pistachio (Shona)
  • Dessert : Almond Lemon Drizzle Cake (Liz)
  • Dessert : Almond walnut cookies (Zoe)
  • I will add dishes here as they are confirmed

Looking forward to another exciting foodie adventure !

Cheers,

Natia & Brandon

P.S. Address details to be sent separately to attendees closer to the event date.
