Critique #1 - Meet, Greet, & Critique

Our first meeting will be a critique-light meet & greet, at a location TBD. Feel free to bring up to 2,000 words for critique, or just show up to get a feel for how the group works. If bringing critique material, consider these suggestions (soon to be requirements once we get rolling):
-a printed copy for each confirmed attendee
-line numbers
-1.5 line spacing
-wordcount at top

Any ideas for a good meeting location would be much appreciated. We're looking for:
-large table
-easy to get to
-quiet enough to hear each other across said table
-not so quiet that we will get scowled at for speaking aloud
