What better way to round off the year than a picnic by the beautiful Murrumbidgee River on the East side of Uriarra Crossing. The East Picnic area offers a number of swimming spots, lot's of trees, is dog friendly and lot's of space for a game of cricket.

This is a bring your own picnic event so pack those eskies, grab a picnic rug, blow up flamingo (or pineapple or thong) , your swimmers and let's have fun!!!

With flushing toilets and hot showers and a dump point Micalong Creek is the perfect reserve for a weekend away. Situated on the banks of Micalong Creek, this reserve is a larger reserve with plenty of walking trails. Large flat sites and gorgeous shady trees give you plenty of options to experience the sounds of nature.

Micalong is our most popular Reserve, and In Autumn the ever-changing leaves are something to behold.

Pack your walking shoes and take a stroll through the bush to Micalong Swimming hole or one of the various bush walks along the water of Micalong Creek.
