Meet on the glorious mansion patio to watch the sunrise, then jump into a rather easy 1.8+ mile walk/hike exploring 47 acres surrounding this Main Line mansion. There is a small hill and expect steps, some roots and some rocks. Great views of the Darby Creek.

Main Line Hump Day Hikes: This summer, I've launched a series of Wednesday happy hour hikes on the Main Line. For the most part these are going to be easier, flatter routes than usual - and roughly 1 hour… Many I'm exploring for the first time with you :-)

Social/moderate 2 1/2 mile hike with magic hour views of the Love Valley and Reading with co-leader Kathleen Patterson - this is considered moderate on AllTrails with 500+ elevation gain depending on the route we take.

We will then venture 8 minutes to the allegedly haunted Hidden River Brewing Company for some beer and grub. (We do sometimes mix it up and go somewhere else.)

The Café is located within our retail store and roastery, giving customers a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the coffee production process. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a mix of industrial and cozy design elements. Exposed metal walls, warm wood tones, high ceilings, and windows provide an open and airy feel, while comfortable seating areas invite our customers and friends to relax and enjoy their visit.

Join us for an inspiring hike as the sun rises over Valley Forge Park. We meet at 6:30am on the 3rd Friday of every month (barring bad weather) and head off at 6:32am sharp.

A moderate 3+ miles - includes over 700 feet of elevation gain - we typically get back by 8-8:15am. Parking at Knox Quarters parking lot near the Knox Covered Bridge on 252. Text me if you have questions 215-783-8118 Chris.

We sometimes head to the G-Lodge or Nudy's for breakfast (bring cash) afterwards.
