Are you a woman who loves to sing, perform in full costume with hair and makeup at regular shows, receive weekly vocal and performance training and meet new friends? Then Magic of Harmony Show Chorus is for YOU! Come join us every Tuesday evening at 7:00 to 9:30 pm at Denbigh Church of Christ in Newport News VA. We are a fun-loving group of musicians who love to sing together and perform for the community. If it sounds exciting, then what are you waiting for? We can't wait to meet you!
We are a 501(c)(3) organization and a chapter of Sweet Adelines International - a world-wide organization of women singers who sing four-part a cappella harmony, barbershop style. We rehearse regularly and membership is by audition. You don't need to be able to read music but you do need to be able to sing your part independently after having time to learn it. We offer many tools to help members prepare for performance and competition. But we are so much more than a barbershop chorus: we sing tunes from Broadway, jazz and pop music! We have exciting stage costuming and choreography! And we are serious about our craft!
