Tour of Museum of Art and Culture yapang: Lake Macquarie

Join me for a relaxed tour of the Museum of Art and Culture: yapang on the beautiful shores of Lake Macquarie at Booragul.

Together our gallery guide will take us through an overview of the two upcoming exhibitions:
Blue Haze: Awaba, the work of artist Keg de Souta in collaboration with local Aboriginal elders that follows the journey of Eucalyptus around the world and Interfacial Intimacies that brings together ten artists who express the multiple aspects of their selves through a series of portraiture and anti-portraiture.

From the gallery we will set out to explore the Sculpture Park that includes work by local and national artists on the leafy shores of the lake. There will be time after to enjoy a chat with coffee or lunch on the terrace overlooking the park at Federici's Café.

This is a family friendly event.

Gallery entry is free.

We’ll begin with our guided gallery tour at 11.00am and then make our way out to the Sculpture Park. We’ll go ahead whether it’s sunny or raining.
