Play casual soccer @ Tempe Reserve!

Let's play casual soccer at Tempe Reserve; they have a really good cork synthetic grass pitch and it's waiting for you to have a game there. Meet at the long benches around the halfway mark. There's plenty of free car-parking around, recommend parking at the first car-park on the right, if not that then go park at the big one at the end. It's also a ~15min walk from Wolli Creek Station. We will try to do 1 big game around 40m wide, or 2 games if there are enough people.

If the synthetic field is not available due to comp teams bagsing it, meet at the left side of the synthetic field where it meets the grass fields. Then we'll see which of the grass fields can be used.

Please note:
- We'll play from 3.30pm in September, and later once daylight saving kicks in. Sign up properly and arrive on time or not too late or you will have to wait before playing.
- This group is Beginner Soccer i.e. only for those who are beginner to intermediate level and we play respectfully. If you're advanced, this is not the group for you. If you enjoy smashing the ball with 200%+ force, this is not the group for you either.
- Meetup is the source of truth for my soccer events. No other Facebook or Whatsapp chat groups should be relied on, though we also spread the word on the Tempe Recreation Reserve Soccer Facebook page. If you get contacted by any stupid idiot nong about a Whatsapp group, which may deliberately play on the same ground because they want to 'one-up' us, report it in to Kevin so they can get booted out of the Meetup group.
- Only come if well.
- If you have a soccer ball and/or pump, do bring them along to ensure that we start relatively soon after the advertised start time. Also bring along a black and white shirt (NO GREY NOR BROWN) for even teams.
This is generally a free event - once in a blue moon we'll seek donations to help keep the group going or pay for goals, but this will be disclosed if so. Cheers!
