After a few sessions looking at some interesting nineteenth century novels where our discussion includes consideration of gothic influences, in August we looked at a change in direction.

In the end we selected 2 books, Silas Marner for our October reading and then for November we are going to read one of Virginia Woolf's novels - The Waves - considered one of her most experimental works. So a strong shift in style, and to a twentieth century author.
