I started Esher Socials just after, COVID because I wanted to get people out and about and having fun after 2 years of lockdown mayhem. It was the best decision I made, as I myself met a really great group of people, many of whom remain good friends. We went to many restaurants, bars, parks, cinema outings, crazy golf and even a holiday abroad.
Due to personal circumstances I had to close the group down because I was unable to ensure the group continued to be as eventful as it had been. I am glad to be in a position to restart the group once more.
However, the success of the group is down to its members coming along and having fun. For that reason, I welcome members reaching out to me if there is something they would like to do, or a restaurant they would like to try. After all, the group is for you.
Although my time is voluntary, there are meet-up fees that I am charged which I would like to recover, if possible. For this reason, I will be levying an attendance fee of £2 but this will become £5 for anyone that cancels a restaurant booking within 24 hours of the event more than twice in six months. You can bring the £2 or pay-online.
