What we’re about
Melbourne Queer Com Meet up does exactly what it says on the tin—it's a monthly social gathering for queer and gender-diverse people to come together, laugh, connect, and hopefully leave feeling a little less alone. If you identify in any way as an alternative to the hetero/Cis norm and are in search of a community you can laugh with, you are incredibly welcome. Ally's are of course welcome but please be aware that this is primarily a Queer event.
Here’s how it works: meet at The Butterfly Club at 7:30 PM, grab a drink (alcoholic or otherwise), and enjoy the show at 8:30 PM, featuring some of Melbourne's best femme and gender-diverse comedians. Then spend the rest of the night basking in the afterglow of an evening of revelry with some newfound pals and acquaintances.
A table/ sitting area will be reserved at the back of the venue and each month a different Host will be waiting to greet you, break the ice and get the show underway.
