What weβre about
BENEFITS:
- Experience being heard and seen by other men who do not belittle what you're up to, what you feel, or what you think.
- Create and re-create your purpose on an ongoing basis.
- Be held accountable for who you say you want to be.
- Explore what it means to be a man.
(+ Confidentiality: what is shared in the group, stays in the group.)
***
OUTLINE:
- 3-minute meditation
- Check-ins and icebreakers
- Sharing - each session will feature a theme; or short reading -- which each man will be free to speak on; followed by reflection from the others.
- Closing
(Most of the above is taken from The Men's Group Field Guide, by Brett Churnin, which is the basis for this group. Get your free copy here if interested.)

ABOUT:
- Sharing authentically is core to Menβs Group. Many men, even if surrounded by friends and family, feel isolated and alone in their true experience of life. Sharing β from your heart (distinct from sharing from your head) β is challenging, enlightening, and liberating.
- This meetup will occur every two weeks. Attendees are encouraged to attend regularly, rather than as a one-off. (But one-off's are okay as well.)
- The starter of this group, Thomas, has facilitated groups in several experiences, most notably as a public school English and 'service learning' teacher. -- See a collection of Thomas' favorite resources for men here.
