What we’re about
Mindful Marietta is a meditation group based in Marietta, Ga. We meet regularly at the Sewell Mill Library in the community meeting room. Dates will be announced well in advance.
We are dedicated to creating a space where all people can participate in a community, practice meditation together, and feel they belong.
We practice mindfulness meditation. We begin most meetings with a meditation, followed by a short instructional talk, and we end with discussion and Q&A.
We welcome people from all traditions, spiritualities, religions, and secular backgrounds. No one needs to be a Buddhist or anything else to show up or be a part of the group.
We are focused on developing and investigating practices that lead to the happiness and well-being of ourselves and others, instead of a set system of beliefs.
This group and its meetings/classes are open to the public and we do not charge any fees. We are donation based. Donations can be made off library premises on Venmo and PayPal.
