What we’re about
Join us in creating a warm, inclusive choir celebrating the joy and diversity of the holiday season! The MDUUC Christmas Choir Meetup brings together Unitarian Universalists (UU) and friends to sing beautiful, inspiring holiday music. Our repertoire will blend traditional carols of the season, UU hymns, and multicultural songs that reflect our values of compassion, unity, and reverence for the world’s spiritual traditions.
Whether you’re a seasoned singer or just love to sing, this group welcomes all voices. We’ll have scheduled practices with Luis Gonzalez, a skilled conductor, passionate music educator and accomplished baritone soloist, in the lead-up to the performance held during our Christmas Eve service on Tuesday, December 24. culminating in a community performance open to all.
The MDUUC Christmas Choir is a safe space to celebrate Christmas with a UU perspective—one that honors all beliefs and the spirit of giving, peace, and joy.
