Hello lovely MWAG Members,

As we hurdle towards yet another end of year, we may reflect on our MWAG activities throughout 2024.

The " MWAG Platform"
Many a friendships have formed on the MWAG platform.
Some 4000 plus Adventure events have been enjoyed since MWAG was founded in 13 years ago. That's an amazing amount of events.
**How did this come to be?**
Simply through YOUR attendance, commitment, giving up your free time, displaying brilliant community spirit!

At MWAG our events include:
Hiking, Walking, Kayaking, Swimming, Weekends away, Yoga, Winter time cinema visits, Boat and train trips, social gatherings in Cafe's and restaurants, the list goes on.
I for one, are/have enjoyed my time with MWAG immensely.
It has giving us all opportunity's to get into the outdoors in a safe and enjoyable manner. Our policy being: No gets left behind, and every one is welcome, we look out for one another.
We have stood by and watched some transformations, E-bikes came along. For those using them its kept them on a bicycle rather then give up!
We have seen the Rickshaw cruise around occasionally carrying a injured member, or just for pleasure.
Some camping aspects have been replaced by BnB's or comfortable beds :-)
Some have gone from Hiking to Walking.
Its fun to see....AND it keeps us coming out to enjoy the great outdoors!
Jennifer and myself have a bit of a joke going, " we probably shall be in our 80's and still come out MWAG'ing :-) by hook or by crook :-)

Thank you ALL for keeping the MWAG wheels going.
Thank you to our event hosts for hosting and posting on a regular bases so others can come along and enjoy a particular event.
Thank you to our Treasurer Rod T for keeping the books.
Thank you to Peter A for the many and regular times he has opened his lovely property to MWAG events.
Thank you to those that help and assist in the background, not actually being seen to do things.

MWAG, even when people come and go, continues to fill a fantastic spot in our community. Yes, back in the day our attendance numbers where very high at times, but things happen, people re locate, meet new partners, find new interest etc..
Lets be grateful for still being able to enjoy the way and the events that still are!

Finally:
Just a bit on the requirements of your membership.

1\. You need to be a financial member to be part of MWAG\. $15\. per year\.
Should you not be a financial member, you will find your membership will get deleted sooner or later.
2\. You need to attend **3 events per year!**
Reason for this, it keeps you in touch with other members as well as ongoing events, plus it will also motivate you to visit the MWAG website on a regular bases.
3\. Many hands make light work\, make contact with myself or a team member $ Sheila\, Elly\, Rod T\, Peter A$ to see what you can offer to make things even better within the MWAG community\!
We are all unique and have something within us that others may or can enjoy or benefit from.
