Reading with Nature at Kings Park (outside KOORAK Cafe)

Let's keep it up and get back out into nature, read, & connect! If you haven't already, dust those books and Kindles/E-readers off or head down to your local library or book store, and join us for a chill Sunday afternoon at Kings Park! (near KOORAK Cafe)! Invite your friends or come solo! All are welcome!

Please bring your own independent book/s. You can also bring cushions, blankets, food etc. to make yourself more comfortable if you want to. Some blankets to sit/lay on will be provided. Highly suggest, if you have picnic chairs, to bring them too if you can in the case we need to sit undercover. Water and sun protection is also advised.

We will start with a chat & introduction (max. 20mins) and then 60mins of silent reading 😁

Feel free to stay back and share what you have read and just hang out. We can also grab something at the cafe if the vibe invites it.

There are picnic shelters in case it rains or if worst comes to worse we could use the cafe (so yes we will proceed even if the weather is not great). A nice cuppa, with a book and the sound of rain sounds grand 😎

Public transport (Red Cat) and parking available. I suggest you come a little earlier in order to find parking as it can sometimes get a little busy. There is also parking on Kings Park Rd.
