A New Jersey meetup for anyone in tech. Code and Coffee is a bi-weekly, inclusive, informal networking/co-working session for those in tech (and the tech-curious).
That includes operators, founders, and investors. Developers, data engineers, UX/UI designers, data scientists, product managers, software engineers, solution architects... all are welcome!
All experience and skill levels are welcome. Bring your laptop if you want to showcase your portfolio, collaborate with others, or get some help and advice!

🧑💻 Operators, you may find value at our meetup doing one or none of the following: look for a better job, meet others in tech and make friends, validate the feasibility of an ambitious side project, get help with your code, gain insight and awareness into a company you're interviewing for, learn about other professions in the industry, join a vibrant online discord community, and/or hangout to sip coffee in a perfect space with friendly people.

Many people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and many other people (optionally) socialize the entire time. It's entirely up to you!

After 5pm: Hanging out at local brewery/restaurantThe Intro Circle
Near the beginning of the event (about 2:30 pm), we will do a standup in a circle:
We first talk about organizer announcements, updates, and logistics. Then we go around the circle where each person says:- your name and job title/ role in tech/ tech stack,
- What you can help others with,
- What you would like help with,
- Job opportunities you're hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If none, that's cool.
After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized.
You MUST register first in order to get into the building.

Shell Bobev is the founder of Disrupt The Gap, a platform that empowers people’s lifelong financial independence through a multi-front disruption of pay gaps. After advocating for her own equal pay in the corporate world and legal system, she realized a calling to create bold solutions for systemic change.
Disrupt The Gap guides organizations with implementing equitable and future-proof compensation practices, as well as empowers individuals with self-advocacy skills.
Among other degrees, Shell holds a Masters of Adult Education, and Certifications in Human Resources & DEI. With a background in talent development, she has impacted thousands of people across corporate, university, and community settings.
