What we’re about
The object is to play Strategy Boardgames, typically Euro Games, such as Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ryde, Stone Age, Marco Polo, Concordia, Brass Birmingham etc.
All welcome, beginners and experienced players. Probably not suitable for kids under 14 unless of course they are experienced players.
Established players are encouraged to bring a selection of games and the games played will generally be decided by the various groups that form. Newcomers simply need to attach themselves to a group or a particular game that looks interesting.
Whilst not intending to limit individual enjoyment, we do ask that all attendees behave in a manner that is polite, considerate and respectful of others. The purpose of this group is to provide a warm, safe and friendly forum for social gaming that is equally welcoming and fun for everyone. Please be mindful that “it’s not whether you win or lose but how you play the game”. For an entertaining view on the do’s and don’ts of board gaming, this video “50 Etiquette Rules for Board Games” created by John Purkis and published on his YouTube channel “Actualol” is well worth checking out.

Hi Gamers,
We are back with our fortnightly event schedule - at a minimum we are meeting on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month. Our next gaming session will be this Saturday (16th November) - We hope to see another great turn out again this week.
Whether you are a newcomer to gaming or a veteran of the hobby please come and join our friendly group - we have a wide collection of games between us and many willing teachers. If there's any specific board game that you're particularly keen to play, learn or teach, please let us know in the event chat/comments and we'll do our best to accommodate.
