Meadowood Enchanted Pond (Rating: C)

Let's work off some of that Thanksgiving! This is a relaxing C hike through beech-oak woods in Mason Neck on land managed by the Bureau of Land Management. The hike will begin on South Branch Loop and then head to the East side of the Park to the Thompson Creek Loop and Enchanted Pond. On the East side of the Park the trails are wide enough to walk two abreast. The trails have some tree roots, are sometimes wet and muddy and we may have to share with the occasional mountain biker (West side of the Park) and/or horse (East side of the Park). We'll have a short break at the Enchanted Pond.

Light hiking footwear is sufficient. Bring water and a snack.
