This group is for anyone, 40 and over married or single who is interested in getting out and about, tired of being home with nothing to do, well there is another life out there just waiting for you, there is get together parties where you can socialize on a Saturday night, make new friends, meet new people, and enjoy a night out in a safe environment, we are a group who love good conversation, getting together and just have some fun and laughter, and there is also a DJ and Live Band Nights have been introduced to play music in case you would like to get up and have a dance, we supply a light supper, coffee and tea, you bring your own drinks. Sometimes a Theme night will be held so you can dress up and have some added fun. There is also Sunday outings, sometimes a BBQ at someone's home or a meet up at a restaurant or park for a BBQ, There are weekends away at affordable prices, these weekends away are very popular as it gives you the opportunity to get together and have a relaxing time, and really get to make long and lasting friendships, go for walks, explore new areas, do activities of your own choice, swim or join in a group activity, there is always a party on the Saturday night for everyone to get together and have a little fun, we normally book places where we can hire the whole area with rooms and a hall to be able to cook in, have a place where we can all be together in one area and dance with a DJ or entertainment on the Saturday Night. The WSC supplies a meal on the Saturday night which is included in the price of the weekend away. This meet up is designed to expand your circle of friends and enjoy some fun and laughter with a friendly group. So come along and join us, There is always more people who attend these parties that those who r.s.v.p to Perth Seniors Social Meetup, we are connected to Western Social Club who are a non profit organization and they have Parties Every Saturday Night, except for the winter months when they go to fortnightly Parties due to the cold weather, there is a $15 entry fee to the parties, but that all goes back to the club, it goes towards the DJ, food and towards expenses of whoever has opened their private home to host the party. you can ring Pat for more information on 0427425229 We are also on facebook: Western Social Club and Perth Seniors Social Meet Up also look for Western Social Club as well. there is also a website for Western Social Club, www.westernsocialclub.org have a look. Being a member of the meetup group is not the same as being a Western Social Club financial member, You do not have to be a financial member to attend any of the functions. Western Social Club hosts the parties for the Meetup Groups, you can be a member of the Western Social Club which gives you a reduced entry to the parties and weekends away, there is an annual fee of $35 per year to be a Western Social Club Member this takes entry to the parties to $10 for a Western Social Club member instead of $15. good value for becoming a Western Social Club Member.

If you have RSVP'd yes to any of our outings and find you are unable to attend any of the meetups, please change your RSVP. This would be a polite thing to do and let us know so we are not looking out for you if you are not attending.
