What we’re about
The goal of the Practical Philosophy Club is to create a community that is open to discussing ideas that can be used practically in everyday life.
We are taking philosophy from academia and making it accessible to all, as it was always meant to be. We have a discussion where we get the lived wisdom of the attendees, where we share our thoughts and boost critical thinking and communication ability while building a community of non-dogmatic discovery.
We don't have topics that are off-limits and look to discuss all sides of a topic in order to 1. help you understand your point of view, 2. Give you different perspectives, and 3. realize that we all have some common ground and just because someone isn't on your "side" doesn't mean they are your enemy. Most importantly, we are a group that values community and care for one another.
We value communication, simplicity, balance, honesty and discernment as values to live by, and look to build a community around these values.
We meet each week in various places throughout the world. To learn more about our community, see our open events, or join one of our groups around the world, visit our website: https://www.practicalphilosophy.club/
