Dale is the principal of Terravest Capital Partners based in Minnetonka.  Dale was first introduced to note investing in mid-1990's when he held some rentals in Minneapolis but quickly realized that, for him, being a lien lord was more attractive and more passive than being a landlord.  Now, Terravest purchases both performing and non-performing mortgage notes nationally.

Recent market dynamics has Dale and Terravest mostly focused on non-performing real estate debt and Terravest works directly with lenders/banks, hedge funds and hard money lenders that are selling their non-performing loans to private investors.
