As parking is an issue on the weekends, we will catch the 3.09PM train from Cleveland to Southbank and walk a short distance to the start of the path. This is an easy 8km out and back, shared path with an elevation gain of 67m and takes about 1 hr 38mins to complete.

From Southbank the path follows the river along past the Kangaroo Point Cliffs under the Story Bridge and past Captain Burke Park, to just beyond the Dock Street ferry terminal. At this point anyone only wanting to walk half (4km) could catch a ferry back to Southbank.

The route is a great way to see unbeatable views of the Brisbane CBD and there are many spots to stop along the way.
On returning to Southbank, you can choose to stay for dinner with us at the Rose and Crown Hotel or head home on the train.

I will need to book a table for dinner as it's time for all those end of year celebrations, so it could be busy. RSVP Monday 11th November
