Sunday Walk
Black Rock Bay Trail
This walk explores a new part of the popular Bay Trail along the Bayside foreshore.
This time we’ll meet at the Tea House café at Ricketts Point and head north to Black Rock along the cliff path, then down to the seawall and onto the water’s edge along the beach sand.
It’s a perfect start to your Sunday and as usual, we’ll finish with coffee back at Tea House at Ricketts Point at Beaumaris.
Start: Assemble the Ricketts Point Tea House, on Beach Road.
Parking: Park in the council car park at the beach side, or in Reserve Road. Parking is free in Reserve Road.
The Walk: The walk is along the Bay Trail as far as Black Rock Yacht Club and then return the same way.
Total distance: 5.0 km.
Time: Allow 2.0 hours for the walk, plus half an hour for coffee.
Difficulty: Easy
Toilets: At the start and along the way.
Coffee: Ricketts Point Tea House, Beaumaris.
