What we’re about
You don't need to be a voracious reader or have read the classics to enjoy our book club. We are convivial group who like to socialize as well as find the time for a book a month. Come to laugh, share stories and make new friends!
How do we pick the books?
People who love reading have favorite themes, genres, authors, and books. We want to make sure that members can include their favorites by suggesting books considered for the club’s monthly selections. Suggestions can be made at any time.
To make the monthly selection, three books are chosen that share a common theme or genre. Shortly after the monthly meeting, members who have attended recent meetings are polled to select their choice from among the three. The results are shared with members as part of the Event announcement for the next month’s meeting.
