What we’re about
Rittenhouse Sound is a non-profit a cappella chorus striving to preserve and evolve the rich art form of a cappella singing. We enthusiastically welcome and embrace any person who has a passion for singing!
Our primary objectives are to provide the greater Philadelphia region with high-quality public performances and perform competitively at regional (and beyond) singing competitions. The ensemble sings a wide variety of music styles: barbershop, choral, jazz, pop, and beyond.
Guests are welcome to visit our rehearsals to just listen, but we also encourage you to pick up a guest binder and join in the music-making. Can't read music? THAT'S OKAY! We have specialized audio learning tools that help our singers learn their parts by ear who don't read sheet music. Just bring your voice and an open mind.
