The hunt is an ancient tradition on Mere Ultima. No one knows how far back it goes. But occasionally, rulers reserve the hunt for those who have rebelled against them to be hunted to extinction. It’s the most severe punishment the law allows. Members of your family have been implicated in a plot to overthrow the established rulers and they have seen fit to impost that punishment on you. May the god lords have mercy on you.
