This is a group dedicated to teaching and learning traditional African rhythms. More specifically, to learn the rhythms and some song of the Anlo-Ewe people of Southeastern Ghana.

This group is for:
Anyone interested in stick drumming, learning and playing African rhythms in a group setting
Anyone interested in learning fun dance oriented music.

This class will delve deep into the musical traditions of Ghana, West Africa, including music from the Diaspora as well!

We are very excited to have Chico based master drummer and kamelengoni player Greg Fletcher join us for our Saturday October 12th at 11am drum circle at La Placita MX in Midtown Sacramento!

Greg has over 20 + years of experience learning West African music, so be sure to make it! Bring your drums, shakers, and acoustic instruments.
