Get Outside & Make Gen Z/Millennial Friends: Nature Walk then Dinner & Drinks!

Details

Join us for a nature walk at Fuller Farm Preserve and socializing at Chaba Thai in Scarborough! This event, hosted by Scarborough Land Trust, invites young, active adults to connect with nature and get involved in the local community. Discover the beauty of Scarborough's wilderness while connecting with its vibrant community!

Who: This 21+ event is intended for people eager to foster connections among other Gen Z/Millennials.

What: We'll start with a guided nature walk led by a volunteer from the Land Trust, exploring the beauty of Scarborough's wilderness. Then, we'll head to Chaba Thai for a relaxed social gathering, where you can mingle with fellow nature enthusiasts and enjoy delicious food and drinks. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are available!

When: We'll gather at the kiosk in the parking lot at 2:30 p.m. The walk will last around an hour and conclude before sunset. We'll then proceed to our excursion to Chaba Thai.

Why: Whether you're a seasoned outdoors person or just looking to unwind after a long week, this event offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors and meet like-minded individuals.

Cost: This is a free event. While food and drinks at Chaba Thai are on you, the walk and camaraderie are free. Donations to SLT are appreciated but not obligatory.

Your host and guide, Hanna Hamblen, is a 31-year-old Mainer who volunteers at the Scarborough Land Trust, a non-profit organization committed to preserving the town's wilderness and farmland.
