WELCOME!
The Southern Cruisers Riding Club (SCRC) is a Free, Family Oriented Motorcycle Riding Club. SCRC has been active for over twenty (25) years. Our chapter (101 - Broward County, Florida) has been around for over fifteen (15) years. We focus on the Enjoyment and Fellowship of Riding Motorcycles, while doing so Safely. While Chapter 101 officially represents Broward County, Florida, our members hail from all over South Florida.

The Southern Cruisers Riding Club is an ACTIVE RIDING CLUB, not an internet club for Motorcycle Enthusiasts. Members and/or guests who have not participated in any club functions for a period of 1 year may be removed from the Meetup website (at the discretion of the 1st and 2nd Officers).
The SCRC Chapter 101 is involved with charity fund raising events, local and long distance rides, over-nighters, dinner rides, exploratory rides (which may lead us anywhere), and social events. The club also promotes Motorcycle and Public Safety. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will we be involved in any illegal activities.
The Southern Cruisers Riding Club is for everyone who enjoys riding motorcycles with a group. Our club policies are very simple:
• No Dues or Fees EVER.
• You DO NOT have to show for all club activities, no tasks to perform, and no major commitments!
• Have a properly maintained, street legal cruiser/touring motorcycle and a valid license with a motorcycle endorsement.
• Support the SCRC and Chapter 101.
• Ride safely.
• Do not engage in any activity that would give the club a bad name.
• Being family oriented, we are not a “bar hopping” group. However, having a legal drink or two (no more) during a ride is acceptable and well-within SCRC rules and legal requirements. Note that any officer may dismiss any ride/event participant that is deemed to be compromising safety in anyway.
Meetup is our vehicle to communicate with our members. By joining us here, you become a welcome registered guest of the SCRC 101. Meetup will allow you to see club activities and information and to join us on club rides as a guest. After three club rides, if you find the "101" is the place to be, please join our chapter on the SCRC National website at:

Please note that you must register with National to be considered a full member of our Chapter and become eligible for Chapter patches, awards, and positions.
Chapter Membership is FREE.

MOST IMPORTANT - HAVE FUN!!! We ride for the love of riding. Most of our trips will be local and not 500 miles from here. So, whatever brand of motorcycle you ride, come and join us. You will always be welcome at the Southern Cruisers Riding Club.
