Hey writers! We're hosting safe, remote meetings Wednesdays on Zoom. Write offline independently from 7pm to 8pm, then from 8-8:30pm log into Zoom to join the video chat. Be held accountable for getting writing done or just share a quick hello.

The password to the Zoom if it asks is our city, no spaces, proper capitalization.

Hey writers! We'll be meeting in the indoor seating area at the MOTW Cafe on Crown Street in New Haven! The in person meetings run differently from the online ones. We'll do an initial check-in at 7pm with introductions, then do timed independent writing for an hour. After the hour is up we can chat about what we worked on, socialize a bit, or even just say so long and thanks for the hour of writing. Shut Up & Write is a writing accountability group and is not a venue for workshopping, however you are more than welcome to set up workshopping, cowriting, etc sessions with people you meet at the events. The Shut Up & Write website, shutupwrite.com , also has writing challenges as well as additional resources available.

Event Timeline:
7:00pm: Announcements and Introductions
7:15pm (earlier if we finish intros quickly): Silent timed writing time for 1 hour
8:15pm: Check-in following silent writing, clean up materials

MOTW CLOSES AT 8:30 PM
You are welcome to arrive prior to 7pm for additional socializing or focused writing time. The hosts (April, Anna and Leon) make an effort to be there early as well.
