Chess Tournaments & Coaching in Singapore

Whether you're looking to improve your chess skills or test them in thrilling competitions, chess.sg has everything you need to level up your chess game. We organize monthly FIDE-rated chess tournaments and offer personalized, private coaching for players of all levels.

What We Offer:

  1. Monthly Chess Tournaments
    Join us for our Chess.sg Rapid Championship, the best-run chess tournament in Singapore. Compete in an air-conditioned venue with premium wood chess sets and walk away with a share of over $2,000 in prizes! Our tournaments are designed for all levels, with categories for rated, unrated, women, and age groups.

Next Tournament Date: Saturday, 14th December 2024, 11:45 AM - 5:30 PM
Location: The Mind Cafe Mega, 30 Prinsep Street, Singapore 188647 (Near Dhoby Ghaut & Bencoolen MRT)
Format: 7 rounds, 15 min + 2 sec increment
Prizes: $2,000+ in cash and chess sets, plus a FREE 1-month Unlimited Board Games pass for all participants.

  1. Private Chess Coaching
    Go from beginner to tournament player in under 6 months. Whether you prefer learning in-person or online, we have a coach ready to meet your needs. Our coaches include Grandmasters, FIDE Instructors, and national arbiters, all trained to make each lesson enjoyable and effective.
  • In-Person Coaching: 1.5-hour lessons at your home for just $90/lesson
  • Online Coaching: Convenient 1-hour lessons via Google Meet starting at $55/lesson
  • Trial Lessons Available: Get started with a discounted trial lesson!
