The event will be at the Meeting Room at the second floor of the Ellen Coolidge Burke Branch Library.
PARTICIPATION:
This event is open to the public and takes place in a library environment. Library policies and Code of Conduct rules are expected to be followed and respected.
Any feedback and suggestions about this event are welcomed and should be discussed and directed to the organizers. Likewise with any questions or concerns.
PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION:
There is free parking at the library.
If you are taking the Metro buses, you can use bus lines 7A and get off at Kenmore Ave & Seminary Road stop which is one block away from the library. You can also use bus lines 28A and 8W and get off at Seminary Road & Kenmore Ave.
If you are taking the DASH buses, you can use bus lines 36A, 36B, and 102 and get off at Seminary Road & Kenmore Ave stop which is one block away from the library. - Casual Gamer Friday at Lost Boy CiderLost Boy Cider, Alexandria, VAUSD 5.00
It's casual Friday! The Parlor Games invites all gamers (casual or not) to check out their library of games at Lost Boy Cider and have a chill end to the work week! This event is "pay what you wish" with contributions suggested at $5- this helps keep the Library replenished and support our pro-bono community events! Friendly Game Curators will be on site and on hand to make recommendations, teach rules and answer any questions.
Founded in 2021, The Parlor Games aims to bring play back into the everyday lives of adults and seniors. They have hosted monthly game nights at local hangouts around West End Alexandria since August of 2022.
The library counts at over 200 games but, due to space, only 60-70 will be on site for the event. However, reservations are available- just send an email to [email protected] with the title, number of players and event you'll be attending- they'll hold and even set it up for you!

The event will be held at Lost Boy Cider in the Carlyle neighborhood (near USPTO and Carlyle Square).PARTICIPATION:
This event is open to the public and takes place in a lively, dog-friendly, tasting room environment. Please be sure to thank our hosts by enjoying one of their tasty offerings! There is typically a food truck on site on Fridays but you're welcome to bring in outside food or order in.PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION:
Lost Boy has free, but limited, parking. Nearby street parking is typically available as well. The cidery is an eleven-minute walk from Eisenhower Metro (Yellow line).If you are arriving via bus, you can take Metro bus line 32 and get off at the Mill Rd. & Jamieson Ave. stop which is a nine-minute walk away from the cidery.

PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION:
While Cameron Cafe has free street parking we recommend you find a parking spot nearer to Ben Brenman Park due to child care pickup on the same block.If you are arriving via bus, you can use Metro bus line 29K and 29N or DASH bus line 30 and get off at the Duke St. & N. Pickett stop which is a six-minute walk away from the coffee shop.
