October Books are home to a voluntary-donations-only* pop-up VEGAN 🌱 CAFE ☕️ every Monday lunchtime, with the food used donated from charities like Southampton City Mission in a bid to combat food waste! 😃

The menu varies, but fusilli pasta in a mushroom & tomato ragout, vegan sausage, red pepper & mushroom casserole, Sri Lankan coconut curry with vegetables & black chickpeas, and pepper & mushroom chilli with rice have been popular mains…. Apple, pear & plumb crumble with homemade lemon custard, and chocolate & beetroot sponge cake with chocolate sauce popular desserts….

On Monday 18th November, there will be live music while we dine which definitely adds to the atmosphere! 🎶😁😃
